How much more--
You send out killers to instill fear and you lay the blame on ripping apart families on the Ministry?
I have lost almost everything because of YOU! Not because of the Ministry... because of you, the self-proclaimed Lord and your bloody henchmen! You've taken away my aunt, my uncle, my cousin, my best friend!
So, on my behalf, that's a no fucking thank you.

I can't tell if it's more difficult to keep track of the body count or the people still living.

Right, so, let's see.- charmed moose head stuck over a 10-year-old's head - tossing broom seats - books that are not used for Care of Magical Creatures biting your hands off - enlargening spells on Quidditch actions figures to attack your brother when he says "stuff" - snitches stuck up noses - placing flying carpets in place of regular rugs in your friends' houses - nose-biting teacups - sneezing powder in place of Floo powder - dragon-hide gloves that burn your hands April Fools' Day is one of the more busy days on certain wards, as you can see. And I am always on call, because I think my staff relies on me to give them a very intimidating don't-EVER-do-that-again look.
These are just the common year-after-year occurrences that I can remember. I'm trying to figure out if I had anything completely original today, but I think the day was mostly a blur. People, please. If a prank can potentially land someone in the hospital with something fallen off or being close to falling off or just broken, I would really really advise against doing it.

A trai Just barely twenty-one. She was just a girl! When is this going to end? Until everyone's child is dead? This does not need to happen!

I had another patient who had a dicta-quill shoved into his ear. In my entire lifespan of working here, I must have had... several of those cases? I can't count on hand anymore. Many of them were results of domestic disputes but this one... I'm unsure if someone was trying to make him stop doing something or if he did it to himself.
He also claimed that he had a Time Turner and sat with Copernicus and the members of the Roman Catholic Church and thus "saved the solar system". I don't even know.

If people want to have a laugh over something, is it just too much to just let them have it? Especially if its not really harming anyone or anything as far as you know?
It's bad enough that the fighting going on outside of the walls of our houses lead to many of our people incapacitated in hospitals with nothing but the traumatic memories of how their faith came to be, or no memories at all because THEY'RE DEAD. Am I wrong to wish that there weren't other trivial situations to get into a strop over?
No one has forgotten ANYTHING. It's impossible to do that when people are losing family members, you know, but it's not a fucking crime to be able to smile despite that. If you're writing or saying or sharing something that brings a smile and some bit of happiness to someone else in the world... you need not stop.
Then again, by my logic, I guess I'm waiting for someone to say "But picking fights makes ME happy!" Yeah, you just can't win.

Pranks is usually all I get. I think I ought to name myself an expert now. Poor bloke had a book stuck to his face. A book on dangerous books. That was... eventful, I suppose.
Long day. Wine night for me tonight.

Our dear cousin, Benjamin Fenwick, was killed in the recent werewolf attack on the town of Tinworth. There will be a wake held from six to nine in the evening of Wednesday, 3 February, at Dorsey & Sons. The funeral services will be at St. Michael's Church in Wark, family only, where Benjy will be buried next to his parents in the churchyard.
